I think they needed to do it now to keep sales up

There are so many choices in high end sports cars these days, so they need to keep the Aventador fresh

I can understand that but this just seems odd if they aren't going to replace it because the SV is usually the last version of that model.

Couldn't tell you, but I'm liking the new front end. Maybe the sales have dropped too much on the Aventador and they have something new in the works. The next v12 lambo is probably going to be a hybrid if they make another v12 model.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that they were only planning to build 4000 Aventadors in total but it's been quite the sales success so maybe they've sold way more than they planned by this point so they got to do something. Me thinks.

But look at the Gallardo. It had more special editions than I have had bimmers in my life. And I've had a lot of bimmers!

The bi-colore edition was simply a special edition with a two tone paint and interior design. now that's silly!

IMO that wing looks like a tacky afterthought. The Aventador does not need a wing and was designed withOUT one in mind, especially with the active spoiler.
